Overview

Sajest is designed with privacy as a core principle. We collect only what is strictly necessary to provide the service, and we never store or sell your personal data. This policy explains what data we collect, how it is used, and the protections in place.

Data We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google, Firebase Authentication receives your name, email address, and profile picture. This is used solely to identify your account and credit your purchased sessions. We do not store your Google password.

Session Metadata

We store non-sensitive session metadata in Firestore: session start/end time, and credit usage count.

Payment Data

Payments are processed by Polar.sh. We do not receive or store your card details. We only receive a confirmation that a purchase was completed along with the product type, which is used to credit your account.

Data We Do NOT Collect

Screenshot images — deleted from memory immediately after AI processing.
Audio recordings — processed locally and discarded after transcription.
Chat message content — never stored on our servers.

AI Processing

AI features are powered by a third-party AI provider. When you use Sajest, your screenshots and audio are processed via our AI backend. Our AI provider does not retain submitted data for model training.

Firebase

We use Firebase (Google) for authentication and database storage. Data at rest in Firestore is encrypted by Google. Access is restricted to authenticated users with rules that ensure users can only read their own data.

Cookies & Analytics

Firebase Authentication stores browser data needed to maintain your login state. With your consent, we also use Google Analytics to understand aggregate page visits and site usage. Analytics is not loaded until you choose “Allow analytics,” IP anonymization is enabled, and your preference is stored in your browser. We do not use ad networks or fingerprinting technologies.

You can withdraw consent by clearing Sajest site data in your browser and choosing “Decline” when the preference prompt appears again. Google processes analytics data under its own privacy and retention policies.

Data Retention

Session metadata is retained while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at the address below. Payment records are subject to Polar.sh's retention policies.

Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@sajest.com.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of Sajest after changes constitutes acceptance of the new policy.
